UPHOLSTERY PHOTO TIPS

DENTAL CHAIR PHOTO TIPS

1) Remove everything from the dental chair. This includes memory foam pads, disposable headrest covers and removable headrests*. Make sure both arms rests and lowered.
* If your headrest is removable take it off and place it in the center of the chair seat.
2) When possible, stand 2-3 feet away from the foot of the chair. Make sure the entire chair is in the photo. T
ake Photo #1.
3) Now, walk behind the chair.  It should be made of plastic or metal. Take Photo #2 of the back of the chair. Make sure this photo includes the head rest and the chair back.
4) At the base of the dental chair near the floor you should see a brand logo with a serial number. Take a photo of this. This is Photo #3. (You might keep this information in a file. If so, send this information to me instead).
5) If each of your dental chairs is exactly the same then please send one set of photos to rvagymupholstery@gmail.com. If any of the chairs are different, in terms of the color or design, please send one new set of photos for each table you want reupholstered. Feel free to email me with additional questions.

Taken from the side, this photo crops out everything thats necessary for creating a proper estimate.

The memory foam pad and head cover have been removed so there is a clear image of the entire chair.

PHYSICAL THERAPY  PHOTO TIPS

How to Take the Physical Therapy Treatment Table Photos
1) Remove everything from the treatment table. This includes blankets, bolsters and pillows.
2) Place one Post-it note on each pad that needs to be reupholstered. For instance, if your table is a 3-section Hi Lo table and only the middle pad needs to be reupholstered, place a Post-it note only on the middle pad.
3) Stand at one end of the table, 2-3 feet away and take Photo #1. Make sure the entire table is in the photo.
4) Send 1 photo for each table you want reupholstered to rvagymupholstery@gmail.com.

Can you tell what's wrong here? It's sideways and only shows part of the table. Since I price everything by size it's hard to get an idea of what size these pads actually are.
Picture
A great photo! It's take from a few feet away and shows the entire table.

GYM PAD PHOTO TIPS

How to Take the Best Gym Upholstery Photos
1) Remove everything from the equipment. (Also make sure no one is on it).
2) Place one Post-It note on each pad that needs to be reupholstered. For instance, if your bicep curl only requires a new arm pad and not a new seat place the Post-it note only on the seat.
3) Stand 2-3 feet away from the machine, make sure the entire machine is in the photo and take Photo #1.
4) Send 1 photo for each piece of equipment you want reupholstered to  rvagymupholstery@gmail.com.

Can you tell what this is a photo of? Me neither. Although it's common to focus on the rip or tear I usually have to ask my clients to reshoot photos like this to make them more helpful.
Picture
A great photo! Again, it's taken from a few feet away and shows the entire piece of equipment.
